“This is the second home that Craig has built for us and we just love it. Craig is a super person and very easy to work with and is very helpful in making suggestions . When we first started we shopped around with other builders and he came in under them and then provided us with more than what we expected. He does a lot of things that he considers standard for his homes and they always surprise us. Those surprises went above and beyond what was required. The result of all of those extras made our finished home far exceed our expectations.
My wife and I think that Craig’s work is just excellent. From framing to finishing out the trim work, he and his crew do a great job. Our house is super quiet, and that is something I really like. You can’t even hear a thunderstorm outside and I think that is where the quality really stands out. His communication during the construction was excellent which kept everyone on tract. As a matter of fact, our home was finished almost 2 months ahead of schedule...we were just delighted. If we ever move again, there is no doubt in my mind that we would have Craig build it for us. I would highly recommend him to anyone.”

“We looked at one of Craig Pate’s homes before we decided to have him build ours and we saw that it had many of the things we were looking for in our home. For example, I teach piano and I wanted to have an area where I could teach my students. Craig created that space for us and it is just wonderful. Craig helped us all the way from negotiating the price of the lot to move-in. The line of communication was very good. He offered several suggestions that made the outcome much better than we had anticipated...we were extremely happy with the results.
Craig was very easy to work with and down to earth which suited us just fine. During construction, we added a lot and had several changes and he never got upset with us. We have talked to a lot of people who have had problems with builders but we never had a problem with Craig...he was excellent. We added a lot of extra woodworking and the crew was very conscientious about their work. The end product really shows off their craftsmanship. We didn’t notice some of the extra detail he puts into his homes until after we moved in. It just adds a lot...It was a pleasant surprise.
When we went to various suppliers to pick out things like cabinets and brick, everyone we dealt with had something good to say about Craig. He is well respected in the community. We would definitely let Craig build our next home if we ever decided build another one. We have already recommended him to our friends and will continue to do so.”

“Craig Pate built my home in 1996. He was the just the kind of person I felt like I could trust. Craig is totally honest, everything he said he would do, he did...without any surprises. He kept me well informed during construction. When I had questions, he was always very prompt in getting back to me with answers. Craig showed me how to save on some features I wanted by doing it a different way and without without sacrificing quality. If he quoted a price on something, he would honor that price.
One of the unique things about Craig is that he has been personally involved in the actual construction process...from beginning to end. His experience was evident when he gave my deck that personal touch by building it himself. He really does know what he is doing.
Since this was my first home, there were a lot of unknowns with respect to construction and other things. Craig was very helpful in walking me through some of those unknowns. I can honestly say his door was always open to me. His explanation of what I could expect was right on target. I would recommend him highly to anyone thinking about building a new home. Our home was built in October of 1999 and we are very happy with it. We were pretty clear on what we wanted and Craig was very instrumental in creating a home that fit both of our personalities and needs. The finished home more than met our expectations. Craig is one of the most relaxed, professional builders we have ever worked with. This was our first experience at building a home and any questions we had he would be very patient and answer them one by one. His demeanor is what attracted us to him...his willingness to listen as well as always being available to us.
We were very pleased with the craftsmanship and work ethics that Craig and his crew provided us. We had a lot of wood work including a huge amount of wood floors and the quality was just excellent. Another benefit of working with Craig Pate was that he provided us with a work schedule during construction and it allowed us to be informed during the course of construction.
We have already recommended Craig to other people and would highly recommend him to others. As a matter of fact, we have already told him we will build another home and when we do he will build it for us.

“We just moved in to our new home and we just love it. We especially like the openness and airy feeling you get. We were overwhelmed with the amount of space we got for our money...it was way more than what we expected.
Craig is very personable and extremely conscientious about his work. He takes all of your concerns and handles them in a way that makes you comfortable. He adds those “special touches” to the house, things that weren’t originally on the plans, things that complimented the house. We really thought that was neat. The overall quality of work was just fine. From framing to the finish work, we really never had any major problems.
